He weighs himself in his exercise room, where he discovers he only weighs a shocking 150 lbs on a scale. He steps off, wondering if it was just an illusion, then weighs himself again. The camera then shows Bob, wearing heavy clothing covering a skinnier and slimmer body, and he screams in horror, accepting the fact that all of his famous weight vanished without him ever knowing it. What if Star Trek: The Motion Picture was an episode of the classic series? Here's the sixth and final segment of my fan edit. Playlist: www.youtube.com This is the conclusion of the story. One thing I couldn't resist was using the music from the Doomsday Machine where Matt Decker made the supreme sacrafice and use it for the scene where William Decker merges with Ilia and V'Ger. The main thing that changes from the movie to my edit is obviously the tone. The addition of all the special effects, cinematic music and even the much maligned reaction shots gives TMP a much greater scope and sense of wonder. This edit is much lighter, and in that sense much closer to the Classic series in tone, which is my preference at the end of the day.

The project files do not contain images, music or fonts as they appear in the preview. Links to music and fonts are to be found in the tutorial included. The project is extremely easy to customize. Of a particular note, it requires Trapcode Shine plug-in, so, if you don't have it already, you can download the trial version from the original site. You can use the project even if you don't have the plug-in, it will lack the rays that this particular plug-in gives it.
