Episode 14 of our 2008 digital remaster of the 1986 Harmony Gold edited English dub of Captain Harlock. -------------------- Episode 14 - "Guest of the Mazone" It's no secret that Terry Drake has a personal score to settle with the Mazone. It's one of the things he has in common with Captain Harlock. Both have lost loved ones to the Mazone. Terry has been nursing his hurt for longer, however, and his anguish over the murder of his father often drives him to recklessness. Like now, for instance, when he attempts to single-handedly follow up on a retreating Mazone squadron in his fighter and gets captured instead. Or was that rescued? He finds himself in a Mazone settlement amid the aeons-old ruins of the Rainbow Planet; however, they treat him with respect and even give him back his gun. They claim to be civilians, fleeing the tyrrany of the Mazone military, and ask Terry to intercede with Harlock on their behalf. Can this really be true? Or is this just another Mazone trap? -------------------- A lot of you YouTube viewers have been asking me about this. I was part of the team that did the first digital remaster back in 2006. Basically, we took VHS recordings of broadcast prints HGM's CAPTAIN HARLOCK AND THE QUEEN OF 1000 YEARS and split it apart back into its two component shows, eliminated all of the cross-series references, then matched them up to cleaner video.
