The Beefheartian angularity of the early records has given way to post-fusion Wayne Shorter style soloing over heavier Afro rhythms. The stripped down rhythm section of bass and drums allows plenty of space for the four-horn frontline to paint fluidly over the grooves. Over the past three years, these gentlemen have been seen jamming with the likes of everyone from indie big dogs Wilco, TV On The Radio, Cursive and Broken Social Scene, to east coast free-form fire-breathers Daniel Carter and Paul Flaherty. Somehow, six of the busiest players in Chicago found the time to record their fourth record, Olives & Orchids." This concert was the headliner for ARTVOICE's "See You There!" listings of top entertainment attractions for the week of January 5 to 10. ARTVOICE Event Description ( blogs.artvoice.com ): "What do the words prosecco, Italian ice, and Venice beach grass have in common? Dean wants you to watch it in HD ;) Sudden inspiration? I think so! I actually LOVE the way this vid turned out! I'm so proud of it! I know its not too long but I had limited clips. I loveeeee the song, its PERFECT for this season! I focused on Season 7 because I think with the Leviathans, its pretty spot on. They are probably the only monster that really scares me on this show. I mean I guess over the seasons I've become immune to the demons xD or at least for the most part! I hope you guys like it! Let me know if you like this style! I had a lot of fun making this and not just cuz its my favorite type of music lol xD (I love rock music, I mean duhhhhh if you have met me you know this! Lol!) Please comment, it makes my day! Song;; just google it Fandom;; Supernatural (Season 7) Coloring;; AmazeMeTutorials Sparkles;; tigerdaisie3223 Render Time;; 30 min. approx. Thanks for reading and watching! -Becca
