Download here: the2shared.com The Real Racing series has been one of the most successful and beautiful racing games on iOS Devices since it was released. The sequel, Real Racing 2, was released some time after and it blew the heads off of some bystanders. Developer Firemint and Electronic Arts have released a Mac App Store version of the game with an awesome extra feature. Now if you've been taking advantage of AirPlay or TV-Out then you should already have a feeling of what this new feature is like. You can connect your iDevice via WiFi and use it as a steering wheel for your Mac. Minus a bit of lag, the external controller option is great and gives you the feeling of a real wheel. Unfortunately since you have to do it through Mobile Safari, the iPhone and iPod Touch version will not lock in Landscape mode(which is what you want). You can still play in Landscape, but turning too hard to the right will cause your device to go portrait and might screw you up. There is another way to connect your device without using Mobile Safari, however it doesn't seem to be working as of now. If you have an iPad, the Landscape will lock and you can enjoy the game without any troubles.

The makers of Real Racing 2, Firemint, have updated the game to support full 1080p video out. This means you can connect your iPad 2 to your HDTV via HDMI and it will play full screen in FULL HD! The game itself looks great on the iPad and the TV, doesn't seem to be any loss of graphics or visuals. You play the game as you normally would except that your iPad is no longer your screen, it's your controller. Your TV will display the game while the iPad displays a map of the track you are playing on along with other options. One downside to your iPad being your WIRED controlled, is that the HDMI adapter can slip out easily. Hopefully we'll see an HDMI port on the next iPad or better implementation of video out(maybe AirPlay?) Anyways, as long as you hold the adapter while playing, you should get used to it not slipping out, it might even give you a better grip. Once again a proof that these high scores can be reached. It is 6000 landings. Sorry about the quality but I couldn't put my camera to an angle I could play and record at the same time. It was difficult enough (I guess you can see how I chaos). I ruined this game around 30 minutes later when I began to watch TV. :) In this moment it is the No.1 official score.
