After embracing the Islam religion, Queenie Padilla, the daughter of the Bad Boy of the Philippine Cinema Robin Padilla, says she's leaving show business for good. "When I was in showbiz, I was very unhappy. I was lost and I always felt I never belong[ed]. But now that Allah is in my life, Alhamdullilah, La illa illalah, I am so happy and content in my life," she said in a report by abs-cbnNEWS.com on Nov. 22. Queenie recently performed the Islam religious duty, Hajj, a pilgrimage to Makkah in Saudi Arabia. Having found "inner peace" and "direction" in the religion, the 20-year-old actress said she enjoys her new life, which led her to decide to turn her back on local showbiz. "Islam is a way of life. When you start to [become a] Muslim, you know [what] your life purpose really is. I am such a sinful person, but Allah invited me to his house. I am so close to him," she said.
