-Abertura do seriado "O Super-Herói Americano", produzido pela TV americana de 1981-83 e que foi exibido no Brasil pelo SBT, na década de 80. -O seriado mostrava as aventuras do professor Ralph Hinkley (William Katt), que recebe de alienígenas incríveis poderes parecidos com os do Super-Homem, com direito até a um uniforme genérico. Mas o professor acaba perdendo as 'instruções' de como manejar os poderes especiais e sempre se mete em confusões, se atrapalhando, por exemplo, no voo e na aterrissagem. -O protagonista era vivido pelo ator William Katt, que no cinema fez filmes como "A Hora do Espanto", "Carrie, a Estranha", e também outras séries de TV mais recentes ("Numb3rs", "House" e "Liga da Justiça"). O elenco ainda contava com Robert Culp, Michael Paré, Connie Selleca, entre outros. -A música-tema de abertura, interpretada por Joey Scarbury, "Belive It Or Not", de Mike Post e Stephen Geyer, fez enorme sucesso nas paradas americanas, chegando a alcançar o 2º lugar por lá. No Brasil, a balada também tocou bastante nas rádios FM's. -Quando o SBT começou a operar, como TVS, no início dos anos 80, este seriado, do canal ABC dos EUA, foi um dos carros-chefes da programação da emissora de Silvio Santos.
