Recently found a tape of a complete game broadcast of the NY Rangers—St. Louis Blues NHL game of 5 February 1986 from WOR-TV channel 9 in New York. Thought it might be of interest to true die hard hockey fans, because this is pretty much a run-of-the-mill mid-season game with nothing special about it—not even a fight. I'll post the entire game in several installments for the 10 or 15 people who may be interested. Interesting also that this particular year (1986) these two thoroughly mediocre teams, the Rangers and Blues, would both somehow make it all the way to the Stanley Cup semi-finals, the Rangers losing to the eventual cup champion Montreal Canadiens, the Blues losing to the Calgary Flames. End of the second period.

Of interest to Ranger fans—their star defenseman Barry Beck was on the DL for this game—as usual. Also of nostalgic interests—many great views of the old St. Louis Arena.
