Opening and closing scenes from Episode 1 of CITV series "Wysiwyg" from 1992. The premise of the series was that terrestrial tv station, ITV,was interrupted by transmissions from IGTV (Intergalactic Television) controlled by Mer-Dokk (MD). In this episode the supposed ITV programme is a take on "Blockbusters" called Jokebusters. The programme was produced by Patrick Titley for Yorkshire and featured Nick Wilton (who conceived, wrote, and script edited the series), Clive Mantle, Julie Dawn Cole, Linda Hartley and Norman Mills. Bob Holness guests in this first episode, with Ben Miller, Peter Baynham, Laura Beaumont,Chris Macdonnell, Nick Maloney, Brian Parr and Steve & Danny credited as other writers. [READ THE DESCRIPTION TO UNDERSTAND] I spent the whole day making this video... I hope it can be good. Well, when I watched The Kennedys I noticed that the story of the political American family is similar to the fate of the English dynasty, and after listening Viva La Vida I can't stop thinking about making this project! I had a lot of fun while I was putting the clips together... The making of it was great 'cause sometimes I watched the parts of the video and I thought that I was working with the same show, instead of two different TV productions... I enjoyed the union of some characters, especially when I united Anne Boleyn to Marilyn Monroe (you can see that almost all of Anne's clips are followed by Marilyn's parts), and King Henry with Jack Kennedy... I just think that we had a great loss when they deleted from The Kennedys series the "Happy Birthday" scene, with Marilyn singing to JFK... I hope I can see it on the DVD version. In the lyrics "Now the old king is dead, long live the King!', I used a metaphor, the "death" of Henry and the following scene with Jack mean the England's decay at the Second World War and the arose of the USA as the most powerful Western nation. Please, British people, it is not a personal matter, even why I LOVE England! So... That's it. I hope someone read it xD and if you still don't know The Tudors or The Kennedys... Go watch it, NOW! =P =I OWN NOTHING!=
