Festival Series 2011-2012 presents pianist Christopher O'Riley in a classical and pop fusion concert. Saturday, February 11, 2012 8 pm Kobacker Hall, Moore Musical Arts Center. Pre-concert talk begins at 7:15 pm in Bryn Recital Hall. As host of the most popular classical music radio show on the air today "From the Top" (nationally distributed on National Public Radio and now TV) Mr. O'Riley also works and performs with the next generation of brilliant young musicians. Just as his radio show and contemporary classical recordings have created extraordinary buzz, so have his classical performances including a 10 city tour with the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields Orchestra and appearances with The Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, the Minnesota Orchestra, and the symphonies of Pittsburgh, Detroit, Colorado, Atlanta and Baltimore.
