A new finding by the Reason-Rupe Public Opinion Survey shows a majority of Americans dissatisfied with the health care law being debated in the Supreme Court while simultaneously confused about the role of government in current health care policy. "About 40 percent [of Americans] thought it wasn't regulated enough," explains Reason Polling Director Emily Ekins. When it comes to health care reform, "it's hard to move forward if people aren't clear as to what the market currently looks like."Reason.tv's Nick Gillespie sat down with Ekins to discuss the poll's findings, what Americans think about the current health care system, and the misconceptions surrounding regulation in the health care market. Crime drama which ran on NBC for three seasons from 1959-61. The show was based on the memoirs of Barney Ruditsky, a former New York City police detective who was a member of their so-called "Gangster Squad." It detailed his battle against organized crime elements in the 1920's and 1930's. The real life Ruditsky was still alive at the time the series was filmed and served as a technical advisor for the show. James Gregory played Ruditsky and Robert Karnes played his partner, Max Fields. Unfortunately for The Lawless Years it was overshadowed by another series with a similar theme, The Untouchables and only lasted for 47 episodes. Tonight's Story "The Nick Joseph Story" Young hood Nick Joseph is put in charge of recruiting new "customers" in a small time protection organization. He has ambitions and wants to get a cut of the bookies' business. Ruditsky gets involved when Nick murders a bookie in cold blood to prove he's serious.
