A short video on how this game performs on the old 9600GT. This game was played on the following computer (PC) configuration: i7 860 Lynnfield 2,8 Ghz-Turbo 3,4 ghz-8MB Cache Level 3 700Watts Modular PSU(Cooler Master Real Power M620) MSI Motherboard(The cheapest one there is for socket 1156,I just don´t believe in motherboards,the difference between a bad,normal and high-end one is made by only 2-5 FPS;in gaming) 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz Samsung 9-9-9-24(Latencies) 1TB Hitachi HDD SATA2-7200RPM Scythe Katana 3-CPU Cooler NVIDIA XFX 9600GT Alpha Dog Edition-with some overclock made: -Core Clock:807 Mhz -Shader Clock:1917 Mhz -Memory Clock:1001 Mhz So,this is the computer that ran the game on the following settings: SETTINGS IN THE VIDEO. ¨ALTO¨ stands for HIGH. So,this is just another video of DIRT 3,you might say. But what I´m trying to prove here is that a good combination/mix of PC components can make a really happy computer,a one ready for everything:Programs,Internet,GAMING,and so on... I wasen´t going to waste 300 $ on a GPU that offers almost(not that close,but you know what I mean) the same performance as the one I own right now. The 9600GT XFX Alpha Dog Edition is a really,really,really GOOD GRAPHICS CARD. Is a beast actually,since all the stuttering(low Frames) were mainly caused by Bandicam(FRAPS). So, 2 weeks ago I built my new PC. I decided to Buy BF3 and do an FPS test on ultra. Without fraps I was averaging 40fps, and with, I getting a solid 30. Playing on Easy SOLELY because Its my first time playing BF and I haven't had much time to adjust to M Specs: -AMD Phenom II 965BlackEdition X4 3.4ghz CPU -Gigabyte GA-990XA UD3 Mobo -Kingston HyperX blue series 8gb (2x4gb) 1600 Ram -XFX Radeon HD6870 1gb GPU -Zalman Z9+ Case -Hitachi Deskstar 7k1000.c 500gb SATA2 HDD -Antec TruePower New 550w Modular PSU everything is at stock clock. I will be OCing Mobo and GPU once I purchase an aftermarket CPU cooler.
