Regardez l'avis de Marina Carrère d'Encausse... La présentation du livre "Le bal des hypocrites" par l'éditeur : Tristane Banon sort du silence pour livrer son récit de l «Affaire» et ce qui la conduite à porter plainte contre DSK pour tentative de viol. Une magnifique écriture de femme blessée, une sincérité totale pour ce bouleversant « J'accuse ». Le 5 février 2007, lors de l'émission 93, faubourg Saint-Honoré présentée par Thierry Ardisson, Tristane Banon accuse Dominique Strauss-Kahn de s'être livré à des violences sexuelles à son encontre au cours d'un entretien pour le livre qu'elle préparait. L'affaire est évoquée dans le livre de Christophe Dubois et Christophe Deloire, Sexus Politicus en 2006 et fait l'objet du dernier chapitre du Roman vrai de Dominique Strauss-Kahn de Michel Taubmann, une biographie autorisée. Lors de la parution du livre en mai 2011, Tristane Banon conteste cette version de sa rencontre avec DSK. Ce témoignage revient bien sûr au premier plan le 15 mai 2011, lorsqu éclate comme un coup de tonnerre mondial l Affaire DSK au Etats-Unis.
