I just don't get "Napoleon Dynamite". I've spent over six years trying to get it but I just don't. I can see such an offbeat film earning a cult fan base but the pop culture phenomenon that it grew into baffles me to this day. It barely would have justified a tv series back at the height of its popularity but I really question the necessity of an animated series 7 years after its release.

since ive uploaded the video "reggie fils-aime is giygas" ive been getting a lot of emails. i recently got one from, what i believe is japan, and attached was this file. thee man saw my video and asked me to upload this, he said it was important. he spoke bad english, but he told me that this was the original tv spot for japan before a series of last minute revisions were made and that he was a part of the production of the commercial. im not sure what to think of it yet so i thought i would just upload it and see if anyone has anything to say about it. so far i have noticed that the mother logo screen appears to be different, with japanese text instead of english, i always thought it was strange that the final commercial had no japanese, i dont know why they removed this also the nintendo logo is red instead of blue it looks like he captured the footage directly off film and without any audio tell me if you have any ideas as to that this could be guys... and if anyone can read or translate japanese let me know what it says, thank you.
