Rie Tanaka voices on-chan, star of the Yumemiru Anime, "on-chan" Japanese animated television series, Seasons 1 and 2. On-chan is the popular mascot of HTB (Hokkaido Television Broadcasting) in Hokkaido, the northernmost of the four main islands of Japan. Hokkaido is the birthplace of Rie Tanaka, Hiromi Konno, and a number of other seiyuu (voice actors) in Yumemiru, anime "on-chan." On-chan's girlfriend is ok-chan. His rival is no-chan. You can tell most of the characters by their eyes: on-chan, on-chan papa, and on-chan mama have "o" and "n" for eyes; ok-chan, ok-chan papa, and ok-chan mama have "o" and "k" for eyes: no-chan has "n" and "o" for his eyes; and so on. This is Episode 10, "no-chan no Oyatsu da on!" ("Afternoon Tea Partying no-chan on!"), originally broadcasted on April 18, 2008 on HTB (Hokkaido TV) in Hokkaido, Japan. It later aired on BS11 Digital satellite television across Japan.
