*Closed Captions Included* This is a funny scene from the 1960s television series Thunderbirds, made originally by AP Films in England, and created, according to Wikipedia, by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson. Taken place in the future, when someone is in grave danger, the International Rescue, consisting of the Tracy family, Engineer Brains and Agent Lady Penelope, would be dispatched to rescue the people who are facing the fate. Jeff Tracy is usually the briefer, while his sons, Scott, Virgil, Alan and Gordon, are chosen to be sent out for the rescue. Jeff's fifth son, John, is on board a station called Thunderbird 5 in the Earth's orbit, monitoring distress calls and sends the info to Jeff if needed. The machines used for the rescue mission depends on the briefing. He concealed his identity to sabotage the shooting of a movie a team was doing at the base of a mountain by using charges to trap the actors inside. There was water pouring into the cave, so Scott and Virgil were dispatched in the rescue. The infamous whistle tune. I had always imagined it to be for twisted uses, such as Moriarty whistling it while watching his pawns saw someone to pieces over dinner and a glass of expensive wine. This is just for fun. I'm making a few, since i'm not ready for The Fall. Whistle Tune from the old brit movie Twisted Nerve (also known to be on Kill Bill). Disclaimer: I only own the edit of the tune/video, and the laptop I made this on. The show belongs to those who make it happen, and the tune to Twister Nerve. In fact I am just starting to learn about light. One of the things I am starting to learn is it is not some much the light fixture you use but how you modify it that makes the big difference. Just check out some of Shane Hurlbut's Home Depot lighting series he has done. I have been using form core boards attached to tent poles using Gorilla Tape to create flags which I think is also called a gobo - see I told you am not a gaffer. These have worked well for blocking or reflecting light in my studio but not the most portable item when you go out on a shoot. That is why I wanted to take a look at the 18"x24" Matthews RoadRags Kit, this kit is small and compact, so small and lightweight there is no reason not to bring it to every shoot. In this 3/4 back light test you can see how I modify this small 150LED light, here I'm not modifying at all and you can see that the blue light on my left jaw line is harsh and you lose the texture in the skin. First up is the Single Scrim, and you can see some of that texture appear on my jaw line. The double scrim diminish the light even more and you can see even more texture. The silk softens light which might be nice for a female, but for me I think that the double scrim works for best for me. Next I am using the gobo that blocks all the light, I'm seeing what it looks like to lose ...
