Gordon wrote his first hit song, "Surfer's Stomp" almost immediately after he formed his first rock & roll band, The Marketts. Barely able to play the guitar, he taught himself how to play as he toured with his group. After having toured on the road with the Marketts for three years, he wanted to go back into the studio to produce and record more songs. He went back into the studio with his second group, "The Routers" and he recorded another national hit song, "Let's Go!" by The Routers. While on a national tour with the Routers, he sat down and wrote his biggest and most popular smash recording, "Out of Limits", which went to #1 in the nation and earned him his first BMI award for instrumental of the year. "GUILLERMO MARIGLIANO TRIO" se presentó en el "Cilclo Mediterráneos en Concierto" el 20 de Noviembre de 2011, en las instalaciones del "Centro Cultural Cabildo Histórico de Córdoba", integrado por "GUILLERMO MARIGLIANO" en guitarra + "DANIEL VOLPINI" en batería y "NICOLAS RADICCHI" en bajo eléctrico. El registro fílmico de éste clip fue realizado por Lizard Pajön J para los "Archivos Culturales de la Nueva Expresión Mediterránea". ** GUILLERMO MARIGLIANO: Guitarra a los 14 años, luego diferentes grupos de rock hasta el año 1991 en Capital y Gran Buenos Aires. 1992 su 1º trabajo profesional graba disco para "Leader Music" y con una serie de conciertos en Capital, interior, Chile y Uruguay. Continuó en el ITMC (Instituto Tecnológico de Música Contemporánea) cursa 1º año guitarra y 2º año de arreglos y composición donde amplio sus conocimientos sobre otros estilos (Jazz, blues, bossa nova, etc.) En '93 estudia con Francisco Rivero en el área del jazz y la improvisación. They to Houston, Texas in 1949 where he grew in the Disciples of Christ and was baptized into the church in 1956. Over the years he completed his studies in music and became a music teacher, well known entertainer and businessman and finally a music minister calling people to the Lord with his music and Bible. During his business career he built up a chain of music stores and even had his own television series called the "Estes Music Jamboree". He and his father owned businesses and worked together in spreading religion and politics, all at the same time. They both served together on the Texas Governor's Conference for Business Leaders during the early 1980's. Sheik Yusuf also owned expensive homes, cars and boats and at one point he even owned airplanes and had become a dealer for Cessna Aircraft. Although he had great wealth, Sheik Yusuf continued to seek the Lord while calling people to Jesus and Christian salvation. His first encounter with a Muslim occurred in 1991 when his father introduced him to a man from Egypt. When he discovered the man was a Muslim he began immediately trying to convert him to Jesus and join the church.
