The Real Racing series has been one of the most successful and beautiful racing games on iOS Devices since it was released. The sequel, Real Racing 2, was released some time after and it blew the heads off of some bystanders. Developer Firemint and Electronic Arts have released a Mac App Store version of the game with an awesome extra feature. Now if you've been taking advantage of AirPlay or TV-Out then you should already have a feeling of what this new feature is like. You can connect your iDevice via WiFi and use it as a steering wheel for your Mac. Minus a bit of lag, the external controller option is great and gives you the feeling of a real wheel. Unfortunately since you have to do it through Mobile Safari, the iPhone and iPod Touch version will not lock in Landscape mode(which is what you want). You can still play in Landscape, but turning too hard to the right will cause your device to go portrait and might screw you up. There is another way to connect your device without using Mobile Safari, however it doesn't seem to be working as of now. If you have an iPad, the Landscape will lock and you can enjoy the game without any troubles. Real Racing 2 can be picked up from the Mac App Store for $12.99: itunes.apple.com Social Network: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Forums: www.iPhoneForums.net Facebook on.fb.me Twitter: www.Twitter.com Google+: bit.ly

My CG/Filmmaking demo reel for Autumn 2011. Some notes, in order of appearance in video: - this robot was based on concept art from a feature film currently in pre-production. There was a drawing that I particularly liked and so I made it into a 3D model. (you can find the drawing about halfway down this page: conceptartworld.com - A popcorn character that I created for a series of Kernel Seasons ads. - A caricature/avator based on a real person. Original caricature artwork/sketch by James Hungaski. - Benjamin Franklin 3D model sculpted in Mudbox. - Bearded dragon model created for sale on Turbosquid. Based on my own beloved pets ;) Next is the live action section. I directed, edited, and created VFX for each of these projects. - Created falling flower petals, sun rays, and sky replacement. Director of Photography: Nicole Klemens - filmed and created VFX and graphics for this titles sequence - created CG grass and painted out moving cars in this Lexus ad - created artificial rack focus on city timelapse, executed fake long-exposure night-time exterior of spinning night sky, created and composited CG cockroach. Director of Photography: Nicole Klemens - directed music video shoot, color graded, added fake lens flares and inserted particle system of dollar bills. - graphics, CG, and green-screen with CG camera moves in this spot for studentoffortune.com thanks!
