Color is relatively accurate, shadow detail is excellent and video processing does everything we expect. The screen maintains black levels well under ambient light. No-nonsense styling, best-ever energy efficiency and a nearly-complete feature set, including two pairs of 3D glasses, ice the cake tastefully. Even with its superb performance, it's impossible to call the gratuitously expensive Elite a good value. Some people don't appreciate lots of talking in videos. So beware! I talk lots in this video. Anyway, not everyone is aware of a nasty thing called 'overscan' in the world of TV technology. In this video I show you how to turn it off and get the correct aspect ratio on a TV, in my case Sony KDL-60NX720. But the basic feature applies to all TV manufacturers. Check your picture settings and see if you have overscan on or off. Turning it off is recommended. Watch the video and you'll see why. However, not all TVs have the option of turning off overscan.
