I was inspired by LadyKyasarin's 'Memoirs of a Geisha - Tudors Style' fan trailer (www.youtube.com which features Anne in the role of Chiyo/Sayuri. I loved the film at the time it came out and I wanted to do a Merlin variation. This video contains clips for episodes right up to the most recent (4x05) so be warned. Casting the characters was relatively easy. To me Gwen was undoubtedly the right person for Chiyo/Sayuri, Arthur was obviously the Chairman (Ken Iwamura) and Morgana was definitely the perfect Hatsumomo. I chose Catrina for the role of Mameha (Gwen/Chiyo's mentor) because she is the only female character - besides Morgause - who has really had enough screen time to fit the role. I'm very happy with my choice of her. Morgause features a lot in this trailer too and while she doesn't really have a *direct* role I suppose you could say she is Pumpkin. Agravaine is sort of in the role of the Baron. Uther is in no particular role, really. He's just there as window dressing. He is probably Catrina's danna so be is partly the Baron as well. I ...

In this video, I have expressed my frustration as well as sheer disappointment at the performance of the Indian Cricket Team down under, where it lost all 4 tests and proved McGrath right, since he had predicted a 4-0 whitewash, right at the outset. I am also very disappointed and in fact perplexed by the way the team behaved on the field, with abuses and poor gestures being the order of the day. I have also expressed my hope that some players, especially Dravid and Laxman, have played their last test (in Adelaide). Ending on a positive note, I hope that the selectors get around to infusing "fresh blood" into the team, even if it means taking some tough decisions. In particular, they need to start looking at the Ranji Trophy matches a lot more closely and identify quality talent there. Also, this IPL bashing needs to stop, since I don't think the IPL is the culprit for Team India's poor performance.
