This is my review on Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder. It is the first book in the Healer (or Avry of Kazan) Series. Here is my Q&A with Maria V. Snyder 1.Who is your favourite character in your books? Janco from my Study and Glass books is my favourite -- no doubt! He's just a fun, quirky character that goes off on unusual tangents and I love writing about him. 2. I loved Inside Out and Outside In! Are you going to balance it out by making a third book in that series? I'm glad you enjoyed the books. Right now there are no plans for a third. However, I've been getting many reader emails asking about a third. Plus my daughter wants another :) So I'm thinking there will be a third at some point, but I don't know when. 3. What gave you the idea for your new Healer Series? In my first fantasy series, the main protagonist, Yelena was able to heal, but it was only one of her many abilities. I wanted to explore this magical power more in depth. So I had this vague idea about a healer or an apprentice healer during an epidemic. She was either going to be sought after for her powers -- like everyone wanting her, or be hunted. I wasn't sure. Then one night my daughter couldn't sleep and she wanted me to tell her a story. She knew all my other books, so I started telling her about this healer. And every night, she'd ask, "What's next?" That's why Touch of Power is dedicated to my daughter. 4. What book(s) are working on at the moment? I'm working on Scent of Magic, the second book ...

ABB TV Episode VII The Return of RMisery On January 6th 2012 the Venice, FL based Heavy Metal Band, AS BRIDGES BURN, RAGED it up in front of a packed crowd at Club 41 in South Venice, FL. Club 41 hosted while it was a night of many mile stones. Long time local "insanities" RMisery thrashed, with 2 new members and totally killed it with it being their first show in over a year. It was worth every metal moment. Our Friends the Kadaver Dolls also played and as usual were insane... It was also Steven Phillips birthday. Aka, world's fattest baby. His wife says he is now a big boy and can use the big boy bathroom... Introducing the adidas 'Comoequa', the Official Match Ball for the 2012 Orange African Cup of Nations. The name takes its inspiration from the Como River which runs through both host nations - Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, and the Equator which runs throughout Africa and unites both host nations. The adidas Comoequa features a bright yellow base colour inspired by the vibrancy of African culture, and links to the flags of both tournament hosts -- Gabon and Equatorial Guinea through colour markings on the central triangular panels. The Comoequa, shares the same construction as the Tango 12, the Official Match Ball for the UEFA Euro 2012™, and is the third ball adidas has produced for the tournament, having started as the Official Supplier of the African Cup of Nations in 2008. Complementing the design, the adidas Comoequa features a series of triangular panels that are thermally bonded together to ensure a true, stable flight path. Covering each panel of the ball is a grip texture which supports boot to ball contact and enhances ball control. Beneath the outer surface of the ball lies a woven carcass and a new bladder for increased air retention and reduced water uptake. The adidas Comoequa will be used on field during the African Cup of Nations which kicks off on January 21st when tournament hosts Equatorial Guinea take to the field at the Estadio de Bata in Bata.
