A popular attraction on the Chevrolet show floor at the 2012 Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto was the Silverado HD Engine Build with Conrad Italiano, a licensed technician and host of Metal E Motion on Rogers. The featured engine was a Duramax 6.6L V8 turbo diesel from the Chevrolet Silverado HD trucks. Chevrolet Silverado HD is the 2011 Motor Trend Truck of the Year. The Duramax is a General Motors diesel engine family for light- and medium duty trucks, designed by Isuzu. The 6.6-liter Duramax is produced by DMAX, a joint venture between GM and Isuzu in Moraine, Ohio. This engine was initially installed in the 2001 model year Chevy and GMC trucks and has been an option since then in pickups, vans, and medium-duty trucks. In 2006, production at Moraine was reportedly limited to approximately 200000 engines per year. On May 9, 2007, DMAX announced the production of the 1000000th Duramax V-8 diesel at its Moraine facility. Check out all the TON TV episodes at Chevyton.ca

Detektiv Conan - 063 - Der Fluch der Suigun(1): Kogoro wird zu einem Vortrag auf die abgelegene Insel Shikishima eingeladen. Dort ist kürzlich ein Schiff, die Ryūjinmaru, wieder aufgetaucht, das vor sieben Jahren mit einer Ladung Goldnuggets im Wert von 1 Milliarde Yen gesunken war. Bürgermeister Mikami erpresst Kogoro. Wenn er die Stelle, an der das Schiff damals gesunken ist, nicht ausfindig macht, garantiert er nicht für seine Sicherheit. Vizebürgermeister Kinoshita bietet Kogoro an, ihn am nächsten Tag zur Hauptinsel überzusetzen, doch Kogoro lehnt ab. Er lässt sich durch Drohungen nicht einschüchtern. Conan erfährt von Kinoshita etwas über die Suigun, deren Fluch auf der Insel liegen soll. Abends entgeht Kogoro nur knapp einem Anschlag. Conan schleicht sich nachts weg, um den Leuchtturmwärter Hamada zu beobachten. Die kleine Tochter des Bürgermeisters, Suzu, schließt sich ihm an. Nachdem sie beobachtet haben, dass Herr Ueda, der mit ihnen auf die Insel übergesetzt war, den Leuchtturm verlässt, schleichen sie sich hinein. Alles ist durchwühlt. Auf der Spitze des Turms steht ein Teleskop mit der Aufschrift Ryūjinmaru. Von Hamada keine Spur. Conan wittert einen Fall. Inzwischen wird Kogoro von einem Mann in Suigin-Rüstung angegriffen. Er verfolgt ihn bis zu der Stelle, an der das Schiff an Land geholt wurde, und wird niedergeschlagen. Als er aufwacht, steckt Hamada tot in der Rüstung. Detektiv Conan - 064 - Der Fluch der Suigun(2): Conan inspiziert Hamadas Leiche. Er entdeckt, dass er gefoltert wurde und dass er schon vor Stunden an anderer Stelle gestorben ist. Er betäubt Kogoro und kann die Anwesenden davon überzeugen, dass Kogoro unschuldig ist. Nun glauben alle, dass Uehara der Mörder ist. Kinoshita geht allein zu ihm, um ihn zu überreden, sich zu stellen. Kurz darauf wird Kinoshita angeschossen aufgefunden. Uehara ist geflüchtet. Conan geht mit Suzu zur Höhle. Dort entdeckt er ein zweites Gewölbe und Hinweise darauf, dass die Ry?jinmaru die ganzen Jahre dort versteckt war. Außerdem liegt die Leiche von Uehara in der Höhle. Es sieht nach Selbstmord aus. Conan kommt aber schnell dahinter, dass es Mord war. Kinoshita taucht in der Höhle auf. Zunächst noch heuchlerisch freundlich, gibt er schließlich zu - nachdem Conan seine Schlussfolgerungen mitgeteilt hat - sowohl der Mörder von Hamada als auch von Uehara zu sein. Kinoshita will die Kinder in der Höhle zurücklassen. Doch Conan lenkt ihn ab um ihn dann mit einem Tritt seiner Powerkickboots gegen einen Stein bewusstlos zu schlagen. Plötzlich stürzt die Decke der Höhle ein. Suzu und Conan retten sich und den bewusstlosen Kinoshita nach draußen. Das Gold ist für immer in der Höhle begraben.
