La Femcee Francesa Pumpkin ofrece una interesante entrevista para Show Bizness TV, www.showbizness.org pumpkinisorange.com mentalow.com PUMPKIN Biography Pumpkin, French female emcee, made her fist moves into Hip Hop in the nineties under the influence of MC Solaar, back in her hometown Brest, in Brittany. She spent 6 years in Barcelona where she multiplied collaborations and concerts with groups such as Aerolineas Subterraneas, Beatspoke, Debilorithmicos or DJ Chavez. In 2006, Pumpkin released Le Vernissage EP produced by Catalan beatmaker Plutonium. French Beatmaker Supafuh later remixed the whole EP. In 2007, Pumpkin and Supafuh started working on a LP: the album L'Année en Décembre which was released in 2009. Year 2009, in collaboration with BCR Music, Pumpkin released a 12" Ainsi de Suite with a video filmed in Barcelona. Winter Stories comes just after with remixes by Supafuh and a new track. It's the third and last part of the trilogy around L'Année en Décembre. After a series of collaborations, concerts (Paris, Barcelona, Brussels), opening for artists such as DJ Vadim, Ladi6, Grooveman Spot et Mitsu The Beats or J Live, inspired, Pumpkin starts working on a new album. Boom Bap, Soul and Electronica are the sound ingredients for this upcoming 12'' with an eclectic international team. Release in 2012. Bangalore: The 'Wall' of Indian cricket, Rahul Dravid, has announcedhis retirement from international cricket on Friday. With his retirement, India has lost the third cricketer (Sourav Ganguly and Anil Kumble being the first two) to have retired from a team which has had several achievements under its belt. Dravid, along with Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman, formed an impeccable middle-order batting line-up for India in the late nineties and first decade of this century, which, for the first time helped Team India perform well on the overseas tours. The 39-year-old Dravid had announced his retirement from ODI cricket in England last year after been surprisingly recalled in the ODI team due to his stupendous performance during the Test seriesagainst England in which he scored three centuries. Dravid has played in 164 Test matches since making his debut against England at the Lord`s in 1996. He has scored 13288 runs for an impressive average of 52.31 and aggregates second only to Sachin Tendulkar who has 15470 runs in 188 Test matches. Dravid, nicknamed the `Wall` for his dour defence, is also a world record holder in the number of Test catches. He took 210 catches, mostly in the slip cordon. If Dravid decides to call it a day, he will be the first of the three ageing greats of Indian cricket, besides Tendulkar and VVS Laxman,to retire. This is the last episode I have of the first series of Spooks, although it is not the last episode in the series.
