Here's the ending segment of the Son of Svengoolie presentation of "The Bat People" (1974) on WFLD Channel 32. In this segment, Sven (Rich Koz) leads a chorus into a specially-crafted version of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas." This is followed by a super text (in tangerine orange with white outline): "Merry Christmas from Sven and the 32 Crew." The 32 was set in American Typewriter Bold; the rest, in Brush Script. In the last seconds (after the "Hooray for Hollywood" excerpt from the first episode of the CBS Radio series The Stan Freberg Show from July 14th 1957) is the scene from The Honeymooners episode "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" (originally aired on the CBS Network on December 24th 1955 - 28 years before this show) where Ralph (Jackie Gleason) and Alice (Audrey Meadows) embrace. This aired on local Chicago TV on Saturday, December 24th 1983 at about 11:57am.
