A short video on how this game performs on the old 9600GT.This game was played on the following computer (PC) configuration:i7 860 Lynnfield 2,8 Ghz-Turbo 3,4 ghz-8MB Cache Level 3700Watts Modular PSU(Cooler Master Real Power M620)MSI Motherboard(The cheapest one there is for socket 1156,I just don´t believe in motherboards,the difference between a bad,normal and high-end one is made by only 2-5 FPS;in gaming)8GB DDR3 1333Mhz Samsung 9-9-9-24(Latencies)1TB Hitachi HDD SATA2-7200RPMScythe Katana 3-CPU CoolerNVIDIA XFX 9600GT Alpha Dog Edition-with some overclock made:-Core Clock:807 Mhz-Shader Clock:1917 Mhz-Memory Clock:1001 MhzSo,this is the computer that ran the game on the following settings:SETTINGS IN THE VIDEO.¨ALTO¨ stands for HIGH.So,this is just another video of DIRT 3,you might say.But what I´m trying to prove here is that a good combination/mix of PC components can make a really happy computer,a one ready for everything:Programs,Internet,GAMING,and so on...I wasen´t going to waste 300 $ on a GPU that offers almost(not that close,but you know what I mean) the same performance as the one I own right now.The 9600GT XFX Alpha Dog Edition is a really,really,really GOOD GRAPHICS CARD.Is a beast actually,since all the stuttering(low Frames) were mainly caused by Bandicam(FRAPS).The game runs just great on an average 40 to 50 FPS.Thanks for watching.Now close this and go play this amazing game.If you sadly can´t play this game,don´t be afraid to ask me which is the cheapest graphics card able to run this game smooth.If I can,I will gladly help you ! PS:1.MOTHERBOARDS.Don´t buy expensive motherboards just because X Company and stupid benchmarks are telling you to do that.Look,I own the cheapest motherboard there is for my computer(Socket 1156).I´ve done tests....a motherboard 5 times more expensive and good and blah,blah,blah than mine,makes only a ridiculous difference of 2 to 5(TOP) Frames per Second while gaming.If you don´t plan to Overclock,SLI or Crossfire just stick to a ¨normal¨ motherboard.You can save up to 500% ! That´s extra money,hommie !2.R.A.M MemoryAll sort of ghost companies are making R.A.M Memory nowadays.While the 8GB I own costs around 30,top 40 bucks,there are companies selling the same amount of R.A.M at the same speed(or higher,let´s say) for 100 $.Why ? Well,because they have better latencies,they are well cooled and so on...THAT´S WHAT THEY SAY !Is a lie. The speed(1000Mhz+),the latencies,and temperatures are things that a normal user shoud ignore.R.A.M never heats up(never to an extreme point)R.A.M speed and latencies should not be considered too much when it comes to buy one.The eye sees no difference.Only benchmarks can show you the difference.8GB of DDR3 1333Mhz I own are the same as 8GB of DDR3 2000Mhz with super low latencies and amazing cooling from that awesome company you were informed about ?YES,I DARE TO SAY YES ! In daily use,as in GAMING,you will see no difference.SO,DON´T WASTE MONEY.BUY SMART !AND HAVE FUN !
