PLEASE READ: Some of you may have seen me on American Idol last week on the Portland, Oregon episode... I have heard from a few of you all ready! I did NOT actually make it to the judges, I got cut the round before!I had NOT known I would be on TV, out of the thousands of people that auditioned, I was not only one of the few put on TV, but also was featured throughout the ENTIRE episode! And thankfully, I was NOT portrayed in a negative light! I was dreading, for sometime, that if they did put me in, they portray me as something I'm not. But really, everything they put in there of me, reflects me. I cried, I laughed, I did cartwheels! lol that's me!They didn't include the other many many shots they took of me, such as me on crutches, me in my pink dress, me flipping the air off when I was in a conversation with another person about why they don't need American Idol, and a camera man walked up and filmed it... lol They easily could have portrayed me as something else, but I'm glad they chose to actually just use me as a theme, so to speak, for the episode. For those wondering, that day, when I auditioned, was THE MOST EXHUASTING DAY OF MY LIFE! And that says a lot, especially because I have PTSD and have a host of sleeping problems because of it! lol I didn't sleep well, and the stress from the impending auditions just wore me out! BUT I determined I would still be myself, and I was! Despite the rudeness of many of the staff of American Idol, NOT those hired by the Rose Garden, they were all great! But the people who actually work for the show, many of them were rude, a few were really awesome! The other guy who was at the table auditioning me with the British guy was very nice, he only spoke once, but he at least was encouraging, whereas the British guy merely made blanket statements and refused to be helpful on ANY level. I wont ever do these shows again, but I don't regret doing it, it helped me realize even more why its so important to just be yourself, and at the end of the day, opinions are still opinions and what these people on these shows, or on youtube, or anywhere else says, don't matter. What REALLY matters is that you be yourself and NOT change yourself for anyone but Jesus Christ! Period!God Bless ~Amy
